|Born 1976. Artist and photographer. Graduate of the Musrara School of Photography, Media and New Music, Jerusalem. has presented extensively in Israel and abroad, both solo and in group exhibitions. Rafram is also the Israeli coordinator of Slow Food movement.|
|Studied photography and new media in Musrara school of photography and new media in Jerusalem, studied and worked on social sculpture issues in Cittadellarte with Michelangelo Pistolleto and is now working on a 3rd degree in the social sculpture unit of Shelley Sacks of Oxford Brooks University.
Rafram exhibited in numerous local and international exhibitions including the Italian pavilion in Venice biennial 2005, at camEc museum in La Spezia 2007 and in La Corbiere in Switzerland 2008.
Rafram deals in his art with social sculpture issues, photography, installation works and Jewish-Arab space questions.
Among other things, Rafram is the coordinator of Slow Food in Israel and teaches a course about food and culture in the Bezalel Academy of Art.
During a photography work in 2010 in Libya, Rafram was kidnapped by the secret police and was smuggled from the country after spending 6 months in a dungeon. His book about this affair will be published in January 2013 by Am Oved publishing house.
